How do I add my people?
In “My people” tap “+” and type a name, or open Settings and choose “Import / sync contacts” to add the contacts the app recognises automatically.
Do you send my contacts anywhere?
No. Contacts, photos and birthdays are read and kept only on your device.
How do I turn on reminders?
Tap “Turn on notifications” on Today or in My people, choose whether to be reminded about everyone or only starred people, and allow notifications when the iPhone asks. They arrive at 9:00 in the morning.
How do I add the widget?
On the home screen touch and hold an empty spot, tap “+” and choose Giortaki. On the lock screen touch and hold, tap Customize and then the area above or below the clock. The widget shows who celebrates today and, only if someone of yours has a birthday, how many. It never shows contact names.
How do I delete everything the app has saved?
Remove the people in the app, or delete the app itself. The data is only on your device and goes with it.
A name day or a name is wrong.
Tell us which name and which date. We publish only checked dates, and corrections reach the app without a new version.
